Some of Grandma's Favorite Sayings:

My sufficiency is quite sufancified and if I partake of anymore it will be obnoxious to my taste.

You can't have your cake and eat it too!

Love many, trust few, always paddle your own canoe.

Good, better, best. Never let it rest, until the good is better and the better is best.

Love is the Ultimate.

You made your bed, now you have to lay in it.

"Grandma will always be in all our hearts, she's touched everyone's lives in her own special way.
She will be remembered by her hugs, her kisses, her charisma, and character.
She's left her mark in all of us, Grandma's legacy will be with us always.

We love you!"

"If you publish this anywhere, she'll probably come back and beat us both, but, this was taken just a few years ago. A big dog trying to climb in her lap in a small jet boat always seemed to make her smile a little bigger. She enjoyed things that a lot of people didn't even tolerate very well. That's why I Loved her.

"This is from back when we were kids....and we all were out at the cottage on Union Lake...All of us were in the back yard of the cottage, and it was a huge back yard too. We were playing baseball....There was Bernice & Bob, their girls...My dad and mom and us girls (I was a teenager then) Grandma Edwards, who wasn't playing but watching us....Aunt Bernice was up to bat and Dad pitched her a slow ball...She squared around and hit that ball as hard as she could right to Dad. It came so fast and hard I think Dad was surprised because he took it square in the nose....He bent over and grabbed his nose and you could see blood dripping, no running out...Poor Aunt Bernice came running up to him and of course tried to help...Someone ran into the house and got some ice cubes to put on my poor Dad's nose...which had swollen 3 times as big as it normally was, and that was BIG......I don't remember what happened after that but we'll never forget that day....

I'm going to miss my favorite aunt, but I know I'll see her and all the rest of them that have left this earth......someday!!!!!

Love you all,
Charlotte
